Hey Ilan,

Hope you can fix that foot so we can have few more sessions at l’Anse, Cartier or BDB before everything freezes.
Wish you a good recovery.

Oh ssshit Ilan... that's real bad news...
How did that happened? A hit on a rock or your board?
Was it hard to get back to shore?

A break that surely won't easily get fixed with epoxy this time...

Hope you'll soon be back... on your feet!
Keep us posted on the X-Rays.
Not sure though I'd like to see detailed photos of the repair job this time!...

Nice pics of St-Michel by the way, some are real awsome... as usual from you!

Take good care man!

Bob

Merci beaucoup!

I apreciate the support! I was feeling great with my wave riding and in Quebec fashion an odd angle wave was aproshing me. I thought to hit it anyway (I was feeling cocky) but coming off a first session after lunch I didnt give it enough attack and a small skip sent me straight over the board with the nose digging and ankles locked in. I guess my foot was bent in half being pulled from the strap, ripping some tendons pretty good.

I am in rehab frenzy. My wife is a physio after all so... I am doing ice, contrast baths, physio, compression, arnika gell and another homeopathy pill for swelling and stretching with hopes of getting back on the water.

I am hopefull now that three weeks might be reasonable!!! not sure...

Leg elavation and windsurfing videos in the near future.
